Michelle "Sissy" Quick

Michelle “Sissy” Quick, 50, entered into rest Thursday, December 14, 2023. She was born in Augusta to the late Wilma and James Quick and was a lifelong resident of Burke County. She attended Waynesboro Church of God and was a talented musician and singer. Michelle loved her family and animals with all her heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Quick, Jr., and Keith Redd; and a nephew, Adam Redd.

She is survived by her brothers, David Redd of Sardis, Mark Quick (Dianne) of Waynesboro, Steven “Mootsie” Quick (Crystal) of Hephzibah, Christopher Quick of Waynesboro, and Richard Quick of Augusta; a sister, Angela Moses of Augusta; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Shih Tzu’s, Sassy and Angel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, December 19th at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, December 20th at the Waynesboro Church of God with Rev. Matt Wigley officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Austin Redd, Christopher Quick, Jr., Caleb Quick, Gabriel Quick, Douglas James, and David Wilson.
