Michael Parker

Michael Parker, 67, entered into rest Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born in Waynesboro, GA to the late Leonard Parker and Daisy Ruth Parker Andrews and was a lifelong resident of Hephzibah. Michael retired from First Services of Richmond County and was a member of the Local 150 Union as a Welder/Pipe Fitter with many years of construction experience. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Braves Fan, hard worker, loving father, grandpa, brother, and uncle. He loved to make people laugh, loved his dogs, and was a good mechanic.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Jane Ward and Patricia Bryant.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Parker (Brandon Edwards) of Hephzibah; a granddaughter, Raelynn Parker of Hephzibah; three sisters, Maria Bates (Nick) of Grovetown, Jolee Edwards (Ephraim) of Augusta, and Janel O’Dell of Augusta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 12th at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Nick Bates officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will take place at Hephzibah Vance Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Lucas, Michael Lucas, Noah Lucas, Austin Price, Brandon Edwards, and Roger James Jr.
