Augusta, GA - Mary M. Sikes, 79, entered into rest on Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Eisenhower Medical Center.She was born in Burke County, Georgia on June 13, 1929 to the late Paul Oglesby, Sr. and Dora Peel Oglesby.She was retired from Gracewood State School and Hospital as a Nursing Technician.She was a member of Rosier Road Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved gardening, going to church, and singing.She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Oglesby, Jr. and her sister, Annie Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, James M. Sikes; two daughters, Connie Martinez and Gail Dusablon; brother, Johnny N. Oglesby; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.Brother Guy Campbell will be officiating.Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.
