Mary Camp Knight

It is with great sadness we share Mary Knight “Grammy” passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, and is with her Savior now. Mary was a native and longtime resident of Gwinnett County and a resident of Burke County for the past two and half years. Mary joined Rosemont Baptist Church and went right to work serving the Lord in many areas including the Nursery, Feeding the Homebound, Mat Ministries, the West Virginia Mission, and the Ruth Sunday School Class with a smile on her face and love in her heart.

Mary was retired from Weathers Insurance Company in Norcross, Georgia after over 40 years of service.

Mary was preceded in death by husband, Ken Knight; her son, Keith Knight; her granddaughter, Ginny Phillips; and her brother, Jimmy Camp.

Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Phillips (Jeff) of Waynesboro; her brothers, David Camp, Donald Camp (Tresa) and Richard Camp (Pamela) all of Loganville; her grandchildren, Jessie Morgan (Josh) of Waynesboro and Sam Phillips of Woodstock; her great grandchildren, James Wylie Morgan and Evelynn Virginia Morgan.

A Memorial Service will be held 4 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2023, at Rosemont Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Flowers officiating.

Remembrances may be made to the Vision fund at Rosemont Baptist Church.
