Mary Ward Kilgore of Hephzibah went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 29, 2019, at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1942, in Gordon, GA, to the late John Lee and Matti Ree Ward. Mary worked at the Gracewood State School and Hospital for 36 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who very much enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary also enjoyed crafting. She was a member of the Hephzibah Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, John W. (Cindy) Kilgore of Keysville; grandsons, Brad (Amy) Kilgore and Tommy (Hailey) Williams both of Hephzibah; great-grandchildren, Ansleigh, Landen, John Thomas, Holly, Chevy, and Nova; brothers, Paul Ward of Tampa, FL, and Wayne (Robbie) Ward of Kite, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday December 1, 2019, in the Chapel of DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home with the Reverend Sonny Mason officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Hephzibah-vance Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Kilgore, Tommy Williams, Mark Hyman, Doug Wasden, Ricky Lucas, Michael Lucas, Timothy Blackman, and Shawn Price.
