Waynesboro, GA- Mrs. Martha Greer Padgett, 68, entered into rest Saturday, May 4, 2013 at her home after a long illness. She was born May 7, 1944 in Tift County, GA to the late Clarence A. Greer and Maybird Willis Greer. She was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Garner.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. Padgett of Waynesboro; 2 sisters, Mary Otha Rowe of Tifton, GA, and Sylvia Ann Burgess (Grady) of Columbus, GA; a brother-in-law, Clarence Garner of Tifton, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 7 from 12-1:30 pm at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, May 7 at 2pm at Burke Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro. Rev. Brantley Seymour, of Tifton, cousin to Mr. Padgett, will officiate.
