Marion "Bubba" Boatright, Jr.

Marion “Bubba” Boatright, Jr., 55, entered into rest Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was a native and lifelong resident of Waynesboro. He attended Waynesboro High School and was a member of Botsford Baptist Church. Bubba has been a resident at Brentwood Nursing Home for 31 years after an accident in 1988 left him disabled. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Boatright; his mother, Betty Eskew Blount; and brother, Charles Ray Tanner..

His is survived by three sisters, Tammy Jones (George) of Waynesboro, Shirley Ann James of Waynesboro, and Cynthia Diane Landers of Natchez, MS; a son, Dustin Scott Boatright of North Augusta; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am Friday, June 2 with funeral services starting at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Greg Coursey officiating. Burial will follow at Botsford Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Lowe, Greg James, CJ Tanner, Robbie Posey, Joseph Miles, and Larry Buxton.

Remembrances may be made to Botsford Baptist Church.
