Augusta, GA - Marie Knight, 74, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at University Hospital after a short illness.She was a daughter of the late William Baxley and Mabel Mixon Knight.She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a brother, Otis (Jo) Knight of Waynesboro; a sister, Betty K. Stewart of Augusta; two nieces; and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 5, at the Knight Family Cemetery.Rev. Rick Boland will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Otis and Jo Knight.
