Waynesboro, GA - Margie Louise Simmons Wilkinson, 88, entered into rest Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Brentwood Terrace Health Center in Waynesboro, GA.She was born May 23, 1922 in West Frankfort, IL to the late Edward Sylvester Simmons and Claude Virginia Davis Simmons.She had lived in Martinez, GA for 30 years prior to moving to Waynesboro several years ago.She was a member of the Martinez United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Wilkinson.

She is survived by three children, Susanna W. Keadle (Russell) of Waynesboro, Charles R. Wilkinson (Mary Ellen) of Sterling, IL, and Jeffrey E. Wilkinson of Columbia, SC.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SCat a later date.
