Margaret Mayes Griner

November 13, 1921 — October 6, 2020

Margaret Griner, 98, entered into rest Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was born in Camak, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Burke County. She was a member First Presbyterian Church, where she taught Children's Sunday school for many years. She was retired from Keller's Manufacturing.

Mrs. Griner was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Slim" Griner; her daughter, Barbara McClain; and her son, Dan Griner.

Surviving are three daughters, Doris Lee of Waynesboro, Jeanette Bolton of Augusta, and TJ Weaver of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Dennis Griner of Jacksonville, FL; former daughter-in-law, Peggy Allen; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2020, in the Camak Cemetery in Camak, Georgia with the Reverend Logan Almy officiating.

Remembrances may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
