Marcus Bates III, 16 months, entered into rest Thursday, November 3, 2022. He is survived by his mother and father, Samantha Bogdan and Marcus Bates, Jr.; grandmothers, Lisa Michelle Bogdan, Lita Bogdan, Renee Haynes, and Mrs. Marcus Bates, Sr.; grandfathers, Mark Snell, Sr., Jason Bogdan, Marcus Bates, Reggie Dishmond, and Zandell Mitchell; great grandfathers, Robert Snell, Sr. (the late Priscilla Snell), Vince Alewine (the late Gail Alewine) and Robert Bostic; great grandmothers,  Elise Moore (the late Carl Moore), Pamela Wilson and Mary Bates Jordan; aunts, Savannah Bogdan, Angel Carrol, Danelle Sullivan, Linda Adkins, Jessica Redd, Amanda Palacios, April Moore, Kaci Beasley, Carla Hubbard, Christy Moore, Elisa Moore, Donna Moore, Zandreny Mitchell, Tamia Bates, and Zania Mitchell; uncles, Jason Bogdan, Blake Bogdan, Tevin Thomas, Damien Pounders, Mark Snell, Jr., Jamie Pounders, Russell Snell, Sr., Robert Snell, Jr., Daniel Snell, Brandon, Doug Palacios, Shane Hubbard, Michael Moore, Chris Moore, Calvin Moore, Lakel Haynes, Zankelyr Mitchell, and Y’kelyr Haynes; great aunt, Diana Jones, Shonkeidra Bates, Tikia Bates, Vanessa Williams, Iesha Mack, Brandy Owens, and the late Kim Snell Godbee; great uncle, Robert Bostic, Jr., Tony Mims, Kelvin Williams, Roderick Herndo, Jason Allen, Aljernun Jordan, Brandon Jordan, and T’Various Jordan; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, November 9 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11am Thursday, November 10 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Green Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Bogdan, Mark Snell, Marcus Bates, and Zandell Mitchell.
