Waynesboro, GA- Maggie Eskew Arrington Forehand, 82, entered into rest Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was born in Jefferson County on January 16, 1931 to the late Frank Eskew and Mildred Davis Eskew. She retired from Jockey International in Millen after 43 ½ years of service. Maggie adored her family and enjoyed hosting Sunday and holiday dinners. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bennie Arrington; her son, Danny Arrington; 3 brothers, William Eskew, Jack Eskew, and Edward Eskew; and 1 sister, Margaret Ann Quick.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Forehand of Millen; 4 children, Carol Collins (Irvin), Richard Arrington, Connie Arrington, and Jerry Arrington (Kim) all of Waynesboro; 4 step children; Robert A. Forehand (Mercy) of Statesboro, Annon Forehand (Sandy) of Statesboro, Patricia Guthrie of Dallas, GA, and John David Forehand (Jessica) of Sylvania; 1 sister, Ann Cockrell (Laverne) of Summerville, SC; 7 grandchildren, Scott Collins (Stephanie), Chad Collins, Nancy Fields (Waylon), Jerry Arrington, Jr. (Megan), Terry Arrington (Christy), April Riggs (Josh), and Lance Arrington; 16 step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Monday, September 23 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2pm Tuesday, September 24 at Burke Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wayne Dixon will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Flowers are being accepted; however, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
