Waynesboro, Ga- Lillie Thames,64, loving mother and wife of the late Willie Thames, entered into rest Friday, November 25, 2011 at her home surrounded by family.
She is survived by four children; Brenda Griffin, of Baxley, GA, Wanda Hammett, of Waynesboro, GA,Jo Thames Leech, of Martinez, GA, and Will Thames, of Waynesboro,GA, as well as five grandchildren; Walter Hammett, Kristin Hammett, April Hammett, Ryan Thames, and Chris Griffin. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren; Michael Hammett, Bailey Howard, and Jacob Hammett.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 28, 2011 at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Burke Memorial Gardens. Reverend Wayne Dixon of Botsford Baptist Church will officiate.
Pallbearers will be: Walter Hammett, Ryan Thames, Duck Thames, Smokey Thames, Smokey Kitchens, and Eliot Edmonds.
