Millen, GA- Miss Lillian Eliza Reeves, 16, entered into her eternal home September 7, 2015. She was a native of Bulloch County and was a lifelong resident of Millen. She was a member of Millen United Methodist Church and was active in the youth group. Lillian was a junior at Edmund Burke Academy and was an honor student. She was a member of the softball team, basketball team, tennis team, Interact Club, and One Act Play. During her sophomore year, she was a cheerleader and ran track. She was also active in the Tattnall Campground for the past 8 years, recently serving as a counselor.
She is survived by her parents, Mike and Terri Reeves; three sisters, Claire Reeves Henwood (Scott) of Atlanta, Hannah Williamson Reeves Derriso (Dent) of Sylvania, and Katelyn Michael Reeves of Millen; a niece, Cora Henwood; a nephew, Eli Derriso; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm -4:00pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Millen United Methodist Church. All friends and family are encouraged to bring photos or written memories of Lillian to include on our memory board that will be at the visitation.
Services celebrating the life of Lillian will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Millen United Methodist Church. Following, she will be laid to rest in the Millen City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dent Derriso, Scott Henwood, Matthew Rocker, Ben Murray, Smith Reeves, Nick McClure, Adam McClure and Taylor Sturkey.
