Waynesboro, Ga.- Mr. Lewis A. Perry, 74, entered into rest Saturday, February 14, 2009. He was born April 3, 1934 in Girard, Ga. to the late Fred Perry and Marion Perry. Mr. Perry retired from Keller Industries, and was a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ. For the last several years, Mr. Perry had lived with his nephew, David Petrea (Vickie), of Waynesboro.
He is survived by two sisters, Pearl Godbee, of Thomson, Ga. and Virginia Freeman, of South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2009 at Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with Minister Michael Nelson officiating. Pallbearers will be: Bill Perry, Matthew Petrea, Randy Woods, Wendell Bolton, Mike Petrea, and David Petrea. The family and pallbearers are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m.
