Lesily Raymond Edenfield, known to his loved ones as Spiderman, was called home on June 19, 2024. He was 78 years old. Raymond was born in Savannah, GA to the late Charles and Marie Edenfield on October 28, 1945. He served in the Army in his early years. He met and married Linda Griner Edenfield and later became the father of two sons, Todd and Troy. They became a trucking family, with Spiderman being an owner-operator fleet owner until his retirement around 2013. Following retirement, he pursued his love of fishing while residing at his happy place on the Savannah River at Stoney Bluff South. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; a sister, Gail; and two brothers, Charlie and George Edenfield.
Raymond had a true love of life, family, and friends. He never missed the opportunity to burn up the dance floor or help a friend in need. He always had a smile for everyone, but the biggest smiles were given to his grandson, Liam, the true apple of his eye.
Left to keep his memory alive are his brother, Glen Edenfield (Mary) of Dawsonville; two sons, Todd Edenfield (Jessica) and Troy Edenfield; his grandson, Liam Edenfield; and his significant other, Tina Lowery, all of Waynesboro. He also leaves behind many friends whom he considered family.
Memorial Services will be held 4:00pm Monday, June 24 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Savannah River Keeper or Burke County Animal Services.
