June Eileen Hart, 82, passed peacefully under Hospice Care from complications of Alzheimer's Disease on Sunday, January 26, 2014, in Statesboro, Georgia, where she moved in 2011. June who was born October 21, 1931, still fondly referred to her birthplace, Sunbury, Pennsylvania, as "up home," but resided in her adopted home of Waynesboro for more years that she had lived anywhere else during her lifetime. June enjoyed reading books and magazines, watching movies, reality TV, and adored her precious cats. June always loved fashion and make-up...her skin was smooth as silk until the day she died! She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Clarion Smith of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, as well as her son, Greg Garverick of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
June is survived by two brothers: Bill Smith of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, and Don Smith of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. June's daughters are Jami Hart McMillan (Robbie) of Waynesboro and Sheree Garverick Kimes (John) of Statesboro.
