PEACE
The peace that He gives to us
Is filled with Love and Trust.
As the glowing sun rises in the East
it fills my heart with Joy and Peace.
A daily walk takes me out past a sleepy town as it begins to awake,
Down through the meadow to a mist covered little lake.
A Mother goose and her goslings enjoy an early morning swim.
The birds are singing royal from the highest tree limb.
Morning doves cooing to each other, as they feed from the ground.
Frisky squirrels chasing another, happy as they run around.
Retracing my steps morning smells tickle my nose,
Joy and Peace within swells and restores my soul.
Looking back over the years of toil and sweat,
that it took to raise a family with no regret.
As the sun begins to sink slowly in the West
I'll lay my head down to a peaceful rest.
"Peace I leave with you.My Peace I give to you"
