Waynesboro, GA.- Judy Rogers, 69, entered into rest Sunday, May 29, 2011. Judy was born in Millen, GA. on February 9, 1942, to the late Guy Melvin Rogers and Edna Epps Rogers. She was a lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a 1960 graduate of Waynesboro High School where she was a cheerleader. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a loving caretaker of many children. Judy was a longtime member of the Huddle House Coffee Club. She was always glad to extend a helping hand and a loving heart to family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by a great niece, Chrystal Williams.

She is survived by her siblings, Jane R. Eiring (Al), of Waynesboro, Brenda R. Williams, of Louisville, Richard M. Rogers, of Waynesboro, Sally R. Reeves (Paul), of Waynesboro, Julie Laurence, and Bo Laurence. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Penny Parker Meeks, Trish M. Rothwell (Brian), Bonnie W. Gainey (Mike), Bill Williams (Lynn), Guy Brett Williams (Diane), Ben Williams (Gladys), Bianca R. Wilson (Len), and Daniel Reeves (Lindsay), and eleven great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 31, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church. Rev. Earl Saxon will officiate. Pallbearers will be Paul Reeves, Len Wilson, Al Eiring, Mike Gainey, Brian Rothwell, and Bo Laurence. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.
