Waynesboro, GA - Judith Gann Coles, 72, entered into rest on Friday, February 4, 2011, at Doctor's Hospital, Augusta.A native of Memphis, TN, she was born on January 18, 1939 to the late Frank Gann and Madge Young Lowery.She was a loving mother and devoted housewife.She was very active in her church and her community and served as a former City Council member of Davisboro, GA.She was preceded by her husband, Leslie C. Coles, and her son, Jeffery C. Coles.
She is survived by six children, Nan Brown, of Arkansas, Ronnie Slinkard, of Arkansas, Sue DeWitt, of Florida, Joann Yother, of Arkansas, Alicia Quick of Georgia, and Beth Ann Williams ofTexas; ten grandchildren, Nathan, Jennifer, Debra Ann, John, Andrea, Kayla, Brittany, Josh, Mandy, and Rachel; three great grandchildren, Dayton, Tyler, Brianna, and many other great grandchildren.
The Memorial Graveside Service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Davisboro City Cemetery, Davisboro, GA.Reverend Wayne Dixon will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Marfan Syndrome Foundation (1-800-8-MARFAN or www.marfan.org).
