Gough, GA - Juanita Phillips Butler, 82, entered into rest Friday, February 19, 2010, at Brentwood Terrace Health Center.She was born in Warthen, GA (Washington County) on April 24, 1927 to the late Eddie T. Phillips and Bessie Hadden Phillips.She was a homemaker.She married W. C. Butler in February 1946.She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Bill Butler.
She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Butler Mobley (Malcolm); grandchildren, Sandra Quick (Mark), Chris Mobley (Terri); and four great-grandchildren, Ty Quick, Aubrey Quick, Cody Quick, and Gabe Mobley, all of Gough.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call at the home of Gayle Mobley, 123 Cates Street, Gough, GA.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.Pastor F. L. Holloway will officiate.Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Waynesboro.Pallbearers will be Allen Hess, Bob McNair, Bobby Glisson, Bill Glisson, Bob Williams, and Brian Nunnally.
