Joseph Brian Mobley

Joseph Brian Mobley, 47, entered into rest Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born in Richmond County and was a longtime resident of Waynesboro. He was a graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and a member of Stevens Creek Church.

Brian enjoyed fishing and watching the Braves and UGA Bulldogs. He will be remembered for his big smile, his great sense of humor, and a very long list of pranks. Brian’s journey carried him to many places, and he made friendships all over. He accepted people for who they were and offered them grace, as God had given him.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Mobley; maternal grandfather, Richard Jenkins; paternal grandparents, Lucille and James Reddick; and his ex-wife and best friend, Amanda Rowell Mobley.

He is survived by a daughter, Noah Kate Mobley of Waynesboro; a son, Joseph Wyatt Mobley of Evans and his sister, Alexis Glen; his fiancé, Amanda Lowe of Evans; his mother, Debbie Mobley of Waynesboro; a brother, Stan Mobley (Millie) of Martinez; maternal grandmother, Bobbie Nell Jenkins of Waynesboro; a niece, Millie Jane Mobley; two nephews, Brin and Brooks Mobley; three aunts, Donna English (Kenneth) of Waynesboro, Sheryl Quick (David) of Waynesboro and Rachel Mobley of Waynesboro; and seven cousins, Blaine Marshall, Neely Lee, Ryan Quick, Lauren Hice, Brad Mobley, Brent Mobley, and Evan Mobley.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00am Monday, April 14 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charlie Kite officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
