Waynesboro-Mr. Jonathan E. Lavoie, 31, died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at his residence. He was born in Werzburg, Germany, grew up in Daytona, Florida, and lived in North Carolina before moving to Waynesboro in 2012. He graduated from Deltona High School. He was a cook for Franks Restaurant before its closing and most recently at The Lake Restaurant.
Surviving are his parents, William and Charlotte Lavoie of Waynesboro; his brothers, Jesse Lavoie and wife, Brittany of Jacksonville, NC and Mark Lavoie of Lake City, Fl.; his nephews, Timothy and Landon Lavoie; his nieces, Hailey and Maggie; his fianc, Christin Francos and her daughter, Jada Cisco of Waynesboro; his maternal grandfather, Edward Joly of Waynesboro; and many extended family members who loved him dearly.
Jonathan was an extremely loving and caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm -8:00pm Saturday, June 11 at the funeral home.
