John B. Ellison

January 27, 1948 — February 8, 2021

John B Ellison 73, entered into rest Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Burke County Medical Center. He was a native of Burke County, member of Botsford Baptist Church and was presently employed with the Southern Company. He was a 1966 graduate from SGA High School in Sardis and a 1996 graduate from Augusta College.
Surviving are, his wife Linda D. Ellison of Sardis, his daughter, Lauren Word (Brien) of Augusta, his son, Ben Ellison (Ali) of Bonney Lake WA and four grandchildren, Liam Ellison, Caedmon Word, Callum Word and Jaman Ellison.
Graveside Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in Bethany Cemetery in Girard with Reverend Wes Lawson officiating.
Remembrances may be made Bethany Church Cemetery.
