Jimmy Rayford Quick

Jimmy Rayford Quick, 65, entered into rest Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was born in Waynesboro and was a resident of Martinez. He was a hard worker and a great heavy equipment operator. Jimmy loved dirt track racing, having fun and had the best head of white hair his family had ever seen. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Bryant Quick and Evelyn Quick Sprout; and five brothers, Bryant Quick, Gary Quick, Harry Quick, Bob Quick, and Bill Quick.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Quick (Sarah) of Martinez and Brennen Quick (Courtney) of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Owen Frazier, Ellyott Frazier, Trent Quick, Madison Quick, and Emersyn Quick; four siblings, Mack Hickman of Waynesboro, Clinton Hickman of Waynesboro, Wanda Quick Ward of Elberton, and David Quick (Sheryl) of Waynesboro; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held 12:00pm Thursday, September 14 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steven Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
