Jimmy L. Oglesby

A native and life-long resident of Burke County, he was born on December 23, 1947 to the late Tom and Florence Oglesby. Jimmy was a retired Crane Operator and was a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Oglesby.
Survivors include two sisters, Linda Oglesby of Waynesboro and Patricia Hammock (Robert) of Sardis; his four-legged companion, "Sassy"; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Monday, December 3, 2018 at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
Funeral Services with military honors will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in the chapel of DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.
