Jimmy Joyner O'Connor went peacefully to Heaven on July 19, 2018, at the age of 68. He was born in Atlanta, GA on July 4, 1950, and lived most of his life in the Augusta area, followed by 14 years at the lake in Lincoln County and the last 10 years on the farm in Perkins. He was preceded in death by his father, A.B. O'Connor, Jr.; and two brothers, Arthur O'Connor III and Tommy O'Connor.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, June Starr O'Connor; his mother, Mary Joyner O'Connor; his sister, Sandra O'Connor Williams (Arnold); two sons, Jason O'Connor (Krystal) and Jerome O'Connor (Melanie). He was the proud Papa of four grandchildren, Jordan (Korey), Megan, Jackson, and Brittany, and one great grandson, Oakley.

Jimmy loved his family, his church, and his friends. He was loved and will be missed by many.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 25 at 11:00 am at Habersham United Methodist Church in Perkins, GA. Visitation will follow the service until 12:30 pm.
