Jewell Banks, 85, entered into rest Tuesday, July 06, 2021. She was a native of Burke County and a lifelong resident of Sylvester, GA and Dublin, GA. She was the owner operator of The Drapery Shop. She was member of the First United Methodist Church of Sylvester and was a member of the Auxiliary of the Moose Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Barney Brookins.

She is survived by three children, Karen Vickrey (Stanley) of Waynesboro, Sandra Dilley (Rick) of Houston, TX, and LV Lee (Jane) of Dublin; eight grandchildren, Brantley Lee, Spencer Lee, Mallory Lee, Peyton Lee, Cage Lee, Tyler Reeves, Joe Moran, and Barrett Dilley; six great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Brookins of Waynesboro; and two sisters, Eloise Frize of Hiltonia and Frankie Taylor of Waynesboro.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 9 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Chapel.
