Jeffrey Blake Chandler, Sr.

Jeffrey Blake Chandler, Sr., 60, entered into rest Sunday, February 2, 2025. He was born in Milledgeville and was a longtime resident of Girard. He retired from Plant Vogtle after 40 years. Jeff was a member of the IBEW Local 84 and was an avid outdoorsman. He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Joseph Chandler.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph Dean Chandler (Melissa) of Waynesboro and Jeffrey Blake Chandler, Jr. (Jessica) of Waynesboro; one granddaughter, Bella Chandler; a brother, Greg Chandler (Sherry) of Girard; his companion, Lynn Murray of Girard; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, February 7 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 8 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steve Sirmons officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
