Janet Lee Mcdaniel

Janet Lee McDaniel, 60, of Sardis, GA entered into rest December 6, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Waynesboro to the late Emily B. and Weyman B. Lee. She was a graduate of Edmund Burke Academy and attended Athens Technical College. Janet enjoyed working in the yard and was a huge NASCAR and Georgia Bulldog fan. She was a much-loved wife, mother, and grandmother and was affectionately known as “MA”.

She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Owen Anthony “Tony” McDaniel; a son, Garrett Anthony McDaniel (Dawn); a daughter, Emily McDaniel Coleman (Kenny); a granddaughter, Allison Elaine McDaniel; and a sister, Angela Lee.

Memorial Services will be held 3:00pm Sunday, December 10 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Dann officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite church or a charity of your church.
