Waynesboro, GA - Mrs. Jane Williams Neely, 82, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at her home.A long-time resident of Waynesboro, Mrs. Neely was born in Cartersville, Georgia.She was a graduate of Queens College, Charlotte, N.C., where she was a president of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.For a number of years, she was an employee of Burke County Department of Family and Children Services and was active in the Georgia Field Trial Association.She was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church.Mrs. Neely was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Neely, Jr.

Surviving are a brother, Lee Williams (Jeanne); two sons, Cleve Mobley (Marlette), Warren Mobley (Sara); two step-daughters, Mary Dee N. Palmer (Ben) and Betty N. Tetterton (Ronnie); two step-sons, Robert C. Neely, III (Patricia) and Charles G. Neely (Marsha); 16 grandchildren, Trey Mobley, Dustin Mobley, Caleb Mobley, Tinsley Mobley, Jane Mobley, Jordan Mobley, Sara Ben-Asher, Kathryn N. Ward, Robert C. Neely, IV, Travis Neely, Amber Heath, Nathan Neely, Justin Neely, Rachel Neely, Charles Neely, and Brandon Neely.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 515 South Liberty Street, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Kit H. Brinson officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church, P. O. Box 50, Waynesboro, GA30830 or a charity of one's choice.
