Mr. James Marion Utley 92, entered into rest Friday, December 14, 2018. Mr. Utley was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County. He was a member of the Brushy Creek Baptist Church in St. Clair, Georgia, a farmer by trade and a United States Army Veteran.
Surviving are, his wife of 67 years, Virginia Utley of Keysville, a daughter, Gloria Black and husband Robert of Wadley, his sons, James M. Utley, Jr. and wife Sue of St. Clair, Michael Utley and wife Paula of Gough and Rodney Utley and wife Debra of St. Clair. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time.
Active Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.
