Jalina Quick Curtis, 50, entered into rest Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was born in Augusta and was a lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a member of Branch Church and The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Jalina was a prayer warrior and loved to volunteer at her church. She loved people and would brighten any room she walked into. She enjoyed picking on her husband and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father, Wallace Quick; her brother, Jason Quick; a niece, Haven Quick; her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Pearl Quick; and a cousin, Reverley Quick.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark Curtis; a daughter, Kristen Curtis (Tyler May) of Sardis; sons, Jacob Curtis of Sardis and Treston Woods (Brooke) of Summerville, SC; a grandson, William Woods; her mother, Joyce Muns Quick of Waynesboro; a sister, Jodi Quick (Chuck) of Waynesboro; a sister-in-law, Andrea Quick of Waynesboro; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, October 11 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, October 12 at Branch Church with Pastor Joey Grizzle officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Curtis, Tyler May, Treston Woods, Toby Morris, Adolphus Morris, Jr., and Tommy Lane.
Remembrances may be made to Branch Church, 5062 Hwy 25 South, Garfield, GA 30425 or Jacob Curtis College Fund at First National Bank in Waynesboro.
