Ms. Jacqueline "Jackie" McCullough Glisson, 78, entered into rest on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born on December 8, 1942 to the late Jesse and Dorothy Flakes McCullough. Ms. Glisson was a lifelong residence of Waynesboro. She retired from the Burke County Board of Education as a paraprofessional at Waynesboro Primary School. Jackie enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Glisson.
Surviving are her son, Stephen Weddon (Barbara) of Gough; daughter, Jessica Edenfield (Todd) of Waynesboro; stepson, Eddie Glisson (Debra) of Waynesboro; brother, Robert McCullough of Waynesboro; sister, Sue Mobley of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Kiah Day and Liam Edenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in the chapel of DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home with the Reverend Matt Wigley officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Old Fella Rescue, P.O. Box 1437 Waynesboro, GA 30830 or the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, P.O. Box 2525 Macon, GA 31204.
