Jackie B. Lovett

Jackie B. Lovett, 87, entered into rest Thursday, November 4, 2021. He was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. He was the CEO of Jackie B. Lovett Trucking Co., Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Chance Lovett; a son, Johnny B. Lovett (Karen) of Waynesboro; two granddaughters, Kacey Johnson (Marcus) of Waynesboro and Kris Lovett of Waynesboro; three great grandchildren, Bentley, Sophie, and Cason Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30am Saturday, November 6 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Chapel with Rev. Isaac Salgado and Chaplain Race Lariscy officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time.

Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Jackie B. Lovett Trucking Co., Inc.
