J. Brad Jones, 43, entered into rest June 6, 2017. He was a native and grew up in Louisville but has been a resident of Waynesboro for the past 15 years. He was a high school graduate of Thomas Jefferson Academy, a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Degree in Biology, and a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a Degree in Wildlife Technology. Brad was the owner and operator of J. Brad Jones Wildlife and Fisheries, Inc. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Waynesboro where he has served as a Deacon and assistant Sunday School teacher. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother who was very dedicated to his Lord and Savior and shared his love of the Lord with others.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Williams Jones; a daughter, Bailey Jones; two sons, Brantley and Caleb Jones; parents, Reese and Kay Jones of Waynesboro, two brothers, Brett Jones (Jennifer) of Evans and Bryan Jones (Kathy) of Swainsboro; four nieces; and four nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am Friday, June 9 at the First Baptist Church, Waynesboro with Dr. G. Al Wright, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the First Baptist Church Welcome Center. Burial will be private. Pallbearers will be David Ratcliffe, Hugh McNatt, Johnny Christian, David Powell, Jeff Rawlins, Harold Ray, Josh Archer, and Jim Evans.
