Horace Hammock

June 13, 1927 — November 25, 2013

Waynesboro, GA- Horace "Mr. Bill" Hammock, 86, entered into rest Monday, November 25, 2013. After many year of service, he retired from Georgia Baptist Children's Home. He was an active member of Botsford Baptist Church. Mr. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Hammock.

He is survived by 2 children, Michael D. Hammock, Sr. and Deborah Ann Gerrard; daughter in law, April Hammock; 1 sister, Iris Smith; 7 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. He contributed to the lives of hundreds of foster children.

Graveside services will be 2 pm Friday, November 29 at Botsford Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev Wayne Dixon will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Botsford Baptist Church or to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center.
