Hobby "Rodney" Overstreet, Jr.

Hobby “Rodney” Overstreet, Jr., 63, entered into his heavenly home, Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was born in Millen on April 6, 1959 to the late Lula and Hobby Overstreet. He worked as a school bus driver for Jenkins County and also worked at the Thompson Company in Millen. Hobby loved to spend time with family and friends and sitting outside grilling was one of his favorite things to do.

He is survived by his four sisters, Geraldine Weldon of Baxley, GA, Linda Bradley (Ronald) of Augusta, Julia Clark (Jabe) of Beech Island, SC, and Teresa Gaiser of Perkins; three brothers, Bobby Overstreet of Millen, Frank Overstreet of Augusta, and Danny Overstreet of Millen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, August 10 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Randy and Mary Byrd officiating.
