After a courageous battle, faced with strength and determination, Heather Quick entered into rest on June 18, 2024. Heather, a lifelong resident of Burke County, was loved by many in the community, but no one loved her more than her family. Heather’s greatest accomplishment and joy was the life she created with her husband, Toby Quick, daughter, Emma Cammer, and sons, Jacob and Hudson Quick. Heather fought each day to give her family the very best until her last breath.
In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her parents, Darwin and Debra Ellison of Sardis; her brother, Cody Ellison (Kristen) of Metter; a niece, Kylee Ellison; a nephew, Conner Ellison; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family is grateful to the staff of Augusta Oncology for their compassion and dedication to serving the patients, like Heather, who pass through their doors.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Rosemont Baptist Church with visitation an hour before the service. The family kindly asks for privacy at their home as they grieve the loss of Heather.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Heather’s memory to a fund for her children at ugift529.com: Jacob (Z5J-679) Hudson (X7Y-S1N) or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
