Harold Keith Mcgee

Sardis, GA- Harold "Keith" McGee, 56, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. He was born in Statesboro, GA on September 17, 1955 to the late Charles Newton McGee and the late Leila Josey McGee. During his career, he taught school for 4 years, was a licensed EMT, worked with safety at Plant Vogtle, and was a vocational rehabilitation therapist at the VA. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and formerly served as a deacon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Newton McGee, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Loretta Boulineau McGee; daughter, Melissa Joy McGee Harper (Jonathan) of North Augusta; granddaughter, Elizabeth Grace Harper; niece, Ashley McGee Kim of The Woodlands, TX; nephew, Chip McGee of Richmond, VA; sister-in-law, Laura Belcher McGee of Richmond Hill, GA; and his Godmother, Dora Edmonds of Sardis.

Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday September 13 at the funeral home.

Funeral service: 11am Friday September 14 at Sardis Baptist Church. Rev. David Harper will officiate.

Interment: 1:30pm Friday September 14 at Ways Baptist Church Cemetery in Stellaville, GA.
