Hampton Edward Johnson, 62, entered rest Sunday, October 31, 2021. He was born in Augusta and has been a longtime resident of Burke County. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Johnson; his mother, Lillian Joyce Prince; and a grandson, Thomas Gravitt.

He is survived by two daughters, Tabitha Johnson of Sardis and Kaylin Belanger of Augusta; his wife, Kathy Belanger of Sardis; two brothers, William Johnson of Beech Island and Anthony "Tony" Johnson of Sardis; a sister, Cindy Johnson of Augusta; and four grandchildren, Hailie Gravitt, Jonathan Braxton, Bryson Boyd, and Easton Williams.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, November 5 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, November 6 at Sardis Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Johnson officiating.
