Grover Cleveland Vickery
June 11, 1956 — March 31, 2017
Girard- Mr. Grover Cleveland Vickery 60, died Friday, March 31, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Vickery was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County. He was a farmer and had formerly worked with Brian Cain farming and more recently worked for Chris Mallard Farms. When Grover wasn't on the farm he could always be found fishing, a passion he enjoyed. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are, his wife, Ann Vickery, his son, Grover A. Vickery and wife Jennifer, his daughter, Evelyn Vickery and two grandchildren, Archie and Grover Vickery all of Girard.
Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Steve Sirmons officiating.
