Georgia Quick Grunewald was born September 30, 1928 in Girard, GA to Cameron J. Quick and Lois Dixon Quick.She was an avid and extraordinary homemaker who also worked outside the home as a computer librarian at Lewis State Bank in Tallahassee, FL until her retirement in 1976 when she returned to her beloved Girard.She then concentrated her considerable efforts on her faith, family, friends and her work inside the home including a cooking column, cookbook writing, Women of Georgia Power and family history recollection. She remained a loyal member of Girard United Methodist Church until her death.
Georgia Quick Grunewald is survived by her husband of sixty one (61) plus years, Ralph H. Grunewald of Girard, GA, her daughter Rita C. Grunewald of Girard, GA, her son, Cameron (Donna) of Waynesboro, GA, her son, Eddie (Kathy) of Girard, GA and Tallahassee, FL, her son Paul (Nancy) of Slidell, LA and her son, Andre' (Debbie) of Bradenton, FL.She is also survived by her sister, Camay Howell of St. Mary's, GA, many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other close family and dear friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her very dear Uncle Ed and her eldest daughter, Sharon Rozar.She loved her faith and her family to the exclusion of all else and set her mind to the accomplishments of both.
