Waynesboro, GA- George B. Fail, Jr., 69, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. He was born on September 18, 1946 in Bulloch County. He was a resident of Waynesboro and was retired from F & W Transport, where he was a diesel mechanic. George was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest Fail, Marvin Fail, and Bernie Fail.
He is survived by his wife 48 years, Sara Jackson Fail; two daughters, Karen (Sabino) Garcia of Waynesboro and Kathy (David) Lanier of Millen; a son, George "Boogie" (Nichole) Fail of Millen; ten grandchildren, Alison (Brian) Elder, Jennifer "Chrissy" (Eric) Kemp, John Richbourg IV, Darryl "Jamie" Richbourg, Loriana Garcia, Brittney (Justin) Irick, Madison Lanier, Zackary Johnson-Fail, Chandler Fail, and Bryson Fail; four great grandchildren, Ethan and Eli Kemp, Abigail Richbourg, and Andrew Irick; three sisters, Jamie Tweety, Geraldine Shelton, and Frances "Sissy" Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, March 25 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 1pm Saturday March 26 at Rosemont Baptist Church with Reverends Wes Lawson and Earl Saxon officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Michael Hunter, Tony Page, John Thomas Jackson, Ricky Frawley, Rob Claxton, and Michael Claxton. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jabo Tucker, LC Clark, Jr., Andy Claxton, Gerald Claxton, and Charles Hunter.
