Waynesboro, GA- Mrs. Georgann Williams Pelfrey, 70, was called home by the Lord on Sunday, November 1, 2015, peacefully at her residence. She was born in New Jersey on February 8, 1945. She was a daughter of the late George Williams and the late Edith Maebell Holmes Williams. Georgann has lived in this area for over 30 years and was a homemaker. She attended the Waynesboro Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Rose, Dot, Ruthie, and Arlene.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald L. Pelfrey; two children, Donny Pelfrey (Jaye) of Millen and Roxanne Pelfrey Rowe (Troy) of Waynesboro; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Bennett of Seattle, Washington, Travis Downs of Waynesboro, Dallas Ann Jackson of Waynesboro, Melissa Woods (Stacy) of Harlem, GA, and Stephanie Rowe of Waynesboro; nine great grandchildren, Tocoda Pelfrey, Marley Grubaugh, Medley Grubaugh, Brooklynn Woods, Emily Woods, Matthew Woods, Bishop Slaughter, Bianca Slaughter, and Danielle Slaughter; one brother, George Edwards Williams II (Faye) of Woodstock, GA; and two sisters, Theresa Williams of SC and Mary Gallagher of NJ.
