Gavin Lee Williams

Gavin Lee Williams, 16, entered into rest Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was born in Savannah and has lived in Burke County since 2021, having moved here from Evans. He was of the Lutheran faith. Gavin loved animals, playing the guitar, hunting, and playing baseball. He enjoyed boating and traveling. He had intentions of attending Georgia Southern University.

He is survived by his father, James P. Williams, Jr.; his brother, Kyle Williams of Savannah; grandparents, Linda Thames (Lane) of Waynesboro and James Williams, Sr. (Linda) of Escanaba, MI; a niece, Hazel Grace Williams of Savannah; an uncle, Ben Williams (Lindsay) of Port St. Lucie, FL; a cousin, Sophia Williams of Port St. Lucie, FL; great grandparents, Worth Smith (Ginger) of Magnolia, MS; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00pm Sunday, June 2 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bruce Allen officiating.
