Fred B. James

September 4, 1942 — April 16, 2020

Fred B. James, 77, entered into rest Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was born in Augusta to the late Gladys and Tom James. He loved his country and was a Vietnam Veteran. Fred was a kindhearted man, who never met a stranger and loved his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Skinner James; three brothers, Richard James, Tommy James, and Robert James; and two sisters, Joyce Blackston and Myrtle Bartlett.

He is survived by two children, Tammy Worman of Statesboro and Fred LeMasters of CA; five grandchildren, Brittney Hughes (Dylan) of Statesboro, Dennis Worman, Jr. of Alexander, Kirsten Hunter of Statesboro, Justin LeMasters of Las Vegas, and Cody LeMasters of Las Vegas; three sisters, Wanda Shelly (Donald) of Hephzibah, Dorothy Thomas (J.E) of Hephzibah, and Marian Purkey of Hephzibah; one brother, Jack Randolph of Hephzibah; and four great grandsons.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the Prickett Family Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to the VFW.
