Frances Sikes Skinner, age 80, of Waynesboro, entered into rest Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She and her husband owned and operated Skinner Service Station for many years. She later worked at Samson's and was a member of Botsford Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ashley Mack Sikes and Myrie Sikes; her husband, Ezra "Sambo" Skinner; her son, Ezra Skinner; and a sister, Sara Jo Holmes.
She is survived by a son, Wade Skinner of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Wade Skinner, Jr. of Waynesboro, Dereck Skinner of Waynesboro, and Jessica Miskelly (Charles) of Augusta; a great grandson; a sister, Ruby Quick of Gough; a special friend that she dearly loved, Mack Hickman; a daughter-in-law, Teresa McMillan; a special niece, Tammy Worman; and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, February 9 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 2pm Saturday, February 10 at Botsford Baptist Church with Reverend David Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gene Jenkins, Jerry Jenkins, Johnny Jenkins, Wade Skinner, Jr., Keith Wells, Nicky DeLaigle, and Shane Rickerson
