She was a longtime resident of Burke County and was retired from the Burke County Road Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel T. McDonald; and a son, Mark Courtney.
Surviving are her sons, Keith Courtney and Tim Courtney; a grandson, Michael Courtney; a great grandson, little Michael Courtney and four other great grandchildren; her brother, Leslie Padgett and wife Judy of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 in Burke Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chuck Stottler officiating.
