Peacefully called home to be with the Lord Jesus, Mrs. Frances H. Dye passed into glory on Monday, October 1, 2018, leaving behind loved ones to cherish an innumerable and vast collection of great memories of love, laughter, wisdom and the quick wit she was so beloved for….. A member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in St. Claire, Frances was an unflinching advocate of the poor, neglected, and abused on earth, human and animal alike. She supported a host of foreign and domestic Christian Missions, organizations that she felt were fruitful causes for Christ. She was quick to give God glory and praise Him in times of hardship and prosperity alike. Frances epitomized the term "faith expressing itself in love".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Dye; parents, Frank Hebbard and Nancy Pate Chance; two sisters, Patricia Hebbard Beeland and Pearl Hebbard Mulherin; and a brother, Buddy Hebbard,
Frances is survived by seven loving children, Howard Dye (Debbie) of Augusta, GA, Vicki Dye Brickey (Bud D.) of Waynesboro, GA, Steve Blankenship (Anne) of Olanta, SC, Angel Barrett Dye of Missoula, MT, Debbie Dye Willis (David) of Peterman, AL, Pat Dye (Lori) of Midville, GA, and Daryl L. Dye (Tennie) of Midville, GA; a brother, Lynn K. Hebbard (Maggie) of Harlem, GA; a sister-in-law, Nina Hebbard of Evans, GA; 17 beloved grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of loved nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm Thursday, October 4 at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be private.
